Single storey lean-to house extension, Royton
Upon first meeting the client, KG Construction sat down and discussed the overall project requirements. Although the project didn’t require planning permission, our professional building team advised that the project would, however, require building regulations approval prior to any work commencement.
This factor wasn’t mentioned by the other two building companies that had proposed building work for this project. It came to light once we had completed the work that although our quotation was the most expensive of the three, the customer felt that our professionalism and close relationship with local authorities is the reason they appointed us as the main contractor.
We completed this single storey lean-to extension within a 5-week building process. Situated at the rear of the property, the client wanted to develop an additional living space inviting the outside in. KG Construction implementing large, sectional bi-folding doors and Velux windows to allow more natural light in.
